The Scholastic “Reading Is Out of This World” Book Fair will be held Wednesday, October 26th (9:00 am- 3 pm), Thursday, October 27th (9:00 am- 6 pm), in the Charlton Heights Library Media Center, and Friday, October 28th (6:30 pm- 8:30 pm) during the Monster Mash.
Ø We’ve created a Charlton Heights homepage with Book Fair information. Logon to http://bookfairs.scholastic.com/homepage/charltonheights for a preview of the books and products that should be available at our fair.
Ø Great news for all of our “Wimpy Kid” series fans! Jeff Kinney’s newest book will be going on sale November 15 in hardcover for $13.95. Our Scholastic Book Fair is offering presales for an exclusively priced paperback edition of Diary of a Wimpy Kid : Cabin Fever for only $8.49 (plus tax)!! Books must be paid for at the Book Fair and will be distributed to your class when they arrive in November.
Ø Again this year, we will have Classroom Wish Lists available. This is a great opportunity to donate a book to your child’s classroom library.
Ø New this year, is the online fair extension. If you’re all booked up during Book Fair week (or just want to keep shopping), be sure to visit the Book Fair online at the above mentioned Charlton Heights homepage website. The online Book Fair is only available after our in-school fair ends from October 28th through November 4th.

Parents and caregivers are encouraged to visit the Book Fair any time during its scheduled run. Get a head start on your holiday shopping or purchase books as a healthy alternative to Halloween treats! Please remember to sign in at the front office upon your arrival and obtain a visitor pass.

Please note that Kindergartners are not scheduled to attend the Book Fair during class time. However,
feel free to bring your kindergartner to shop at the fair during any open hours.
