How to Make Popcorn
You should plan on arriving about 20 minute before your first customers so you can start popping the corn and get a good “stash” started. 1. Turn on all switches and let the kettle heat up for 5-7 minutes.
2. Turn off the kettle. Slide up the lid to the kettle and it will adhere to the top of the popcorn machine via a strong magnet.
3. Add the oil part of the packet to the kettle first and let it melt, then pour in the popcorn.
4. Turn the kettle back on and when popping stops, pull the handle to allow the kettle to dump out into the bottom of the maker.
5. You may need to empty the kernel drawer that pulls out frequently.
6. When done popping, let the machine cool. Then clean the inside and outside with a mixture of vinegar and water. The bottom tray can be lifted up to clean under the machine, there are other parts that can be taken out to be cleaned in the sink with detergent. There should be no popped corn or lose kernels about as they can attract mice, etc.
7. If you are running low on supplies, check the snack supply room and/or let the popcorn chair know.
